A new circle of Greek language and culture is opening in the heart of Athens.

After many requests from people who live in Athens or travel here and wished to experience Greek lessons in person, Nostos Hub is launching a new cycle of immersive, in-person group lessons designed to connect language with real urban life.

These sessions are inspired by the idea of the periptero.

In ancient Greek architecture, a peripteros described a temple surrounded by columns on all sides. In modern Greece, a periptero is the small neighbourhood kiosk, a meeting point, a place of connection, conversation, and everyday interaction.

The Periptero Sessions bring Greek to you from all sides.

What Are the Periptero Sessions?

Twice a week, we meet in a beautiful central space in Athens for immersive Greek group lessons.

📍 Location: Monastiraki and Plaka

📅 Days: Every Monday & Thursday

⏰ Time: 09:45 – 11:45

Each two-hour session includes:

Active speaking practice
Grammar explained clearly and practically
Vocabulary expansion
Real-life communication
Cultural insight connected to Athens

All teaching material is created by Nostos Hub, carefully designed, regularly updated, and based on modern, real-life Greek.

We do not follow traditional, outdated textbooks.

Our material reflects contemporary language, current vocabulary, and authentic communication.

These are interactive, discussion-based group sessions where language becomes lived experience.

What Are the Prerequisites?

All levels are welcome.

There are no strict prerequisites to join.

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced learner, you can participate.

Groups are formed according to participants’ levels to ensure a comfortable and productive learning environment.

Pricing

Standard Cost: 20€ + VAT per two-hour session.

Flexible & Easy

The Periptero Sessions operate on a hop-on, hop-off basis.

There is no obligation to follow a fixed cycle of lessons.

You may attend the sessions that fit your schedule.

This allows you to integrate Greek naturally into your weekly rhythm.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable.

We appreciate your understanding, as this allows us to maintain consistency and respect for all participants.

Periptero is designed as more than weekly language meetings.

Alongside the sessions, participants may join optional cultural and social experiences such as:
